How people use, adapt and change their own environment is undeniably related with multiple factors such as age, gender, culture, global pandemic and many others. Over the past years, global pandemic changed the daily routines of the people. Adaptation and transformation of our daily environments became part of humanity’s daily routine. Accessibility of the public space decreased so drastically. This situation lead people to spend dynamic and active time in their homes and this change brought new relationships between body, space and time.
As being an experiencer of global pandemic, having changes, transformations and self-consciousness in daily life was inevitable. My home became my socializing and awareness raising hub. The awareness that is raised in this article refers to the bodily explorations in a specific space which is “the kitchen”. My kitchen is where I am multi-tasking and experiencing both static and fluid movements. Observing the kitchen as a medium for analysing bodily movements becomes the initiator idea.
